The Healing Trust Training Programme

​The Healing Trust offer a National Training programme, and the Healing Foundation Course is a recognised professional qualification. The Foundation course consists of four parts, detailed below in the Course Content. The course enables the student to explore and understand the principles and practice of healing. It also serves to support the personal spiritual growth of the individual who is developing as a channel for healing energies. The course provides ample opportunity to ask questions and for practical workshop experience under the guidance of our well established professional healer tutors.

N.B.

It is a requirement to join The Healing Trust as a 'student member' prior to commencing the training.  The cost for the first year is £30.  There are Tutors throughout the UK and a list of these can be found on The Healing Trust website

 

 

Course Content

Part 1 (2 days training)  

​

Part 1 also serves as a stand-alone course for anyone wishing to know more about healing and the healer's role; it is also relevant for other healthcare professionals wishing to refer to, or work in partnership with healers. Subjects covered include: 

 

What is Spiritual Healing?, The History of Healing, The Human Energy Centres - The Chakras, The Human Energy Field - The Aura, Preparing for Healing - Grounding, Spiritual Attunement and Protection, Distant Healing, The Act of Healing.

Part 2 (2 days training) 

​

Part 2 of the Course has been designed for people who have successfully completed Healer Training Part 1. Subjects covered include: 

 

Breath Work, Relaxation and Meditation, The Act of Chair Healing, The Professional Healing Environment - Practical Preparations for Healing, Opening and Closing a Healing Session, Administration and Record Keeping, The Code of Conduct, Risk Assessment and Health and Safety, The Healer - Roles and Responsibilities, Being a Student with The Healing Trust - Recording your Personal Development as a Healer, Couch Healing.

 

Part 3 (3 days training)

Part 3 of the Course has been designed for those students who have successfully completed Healer Training Parts 1 and 2. (Applicants will be expected to confirm the dates and locations at which Parts 1 and 2 were completed). Subjects covered include: 

 

The Physical Body - Anatomy and Physiology, Stress Management, The Creative Mind - Self-Healing Strategies, Imagery in Healing - Creative Visualization and Meditation, The Healer's Role in the Universal Scheme, Childhood Influences, Attunement with Words, Forgiveness; Healing Practice, Couch Healing.

 

Part 4 (3 days training)

Part 4 of the Course has been designed for those students who have successfully completed Healer Training Parts 1-3. (Confirmation of this will be requested.) Subjects covered include: 

 

Listening and Communication Skills; Healing into Death and Dying, The Higher Self, Karma and Reincarnation, Sound and Vibration, Colour Awareness, Holistic Health - Positive Thought and Lifestyle.

A Student Healer can apply for Full Healer Membership with the "The Healing Trust"  after a period of 2 years, completion of Course 1, 2, 3, 4, and upon a successful outcome at a Healer Panel.
